PixelDex is a watch face for Garmin devices. It displays your health and activity data directly on your watch, styled as a retro pixel stat screen. This policy explains what data PixelDex accesses, how it is used, and what it does not do.
To display your stats, PixelDex reads the following data directly from your Garmin device's on-device APIs:
This access is declared through the standard Connect IQ SensorHistory
and UserProfile permissions, requested at install time by the Garmin
platform.
PixelDex reads live data each time the watch face redraws; it does not keep a
history log of your stats. Your display preferences (color theme, which stats
are shown, clock format, step goal, heart-rate alert threshold, weather unit)
are stored locally on your device via the Connect IQ Properties/
Storage API, and are only synced to the Garmin Connect Mobile app
as part of Garmin's own standard settings sync, the same way any other Connect
IQ app's settings would be. PixelDex's developer has no access to this data.
PixelDex does not knowingly collect data from children, as it does not collect any personal data at all, from anyone.
If PixelDex's data handling ever changes (for example, if a future feature adds network access), this policy will be updated first, and the change will be reflected in the app's Connect IQ Store listing.
